the ORBIT 51 and 52 buses give regular and reliable links to many places in around Gateshead, including Deckham, Carr Hill, Windy Nook, Felling Square, Heworth, Leam Lane Estate, Springwell Estate, Wrekenton, Easedale Gardens, Kell's Lane, Dryden Road and Gateshead Library.
Monday to Saturday daytime buses run up to every 15 minutes for most of the day on each circular route, with evening buses running every 30 minutes and Sunday daytime buses running every 20 minutes.

On the route

Metrocentre
Easy connections can be made at Gateshead Interchange and Eldon Square Bus Station with frequent buses to and from MetroCentre.
With more than 300 shops all under one roof, MetroCentre has something for everyone, including major names like Debenhams, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer.
There are many smaller independent shops in themed areas such as The Forum, The Studio and Garden Court.
