As the leading bus company in the region, we realise the importance of doing our bit for the communities in which we operate and every year donate a total of £10,000 to local groups and good causes.
If your group or organisation meets our criteria detailed below, why not apply for a donation of up to £500 to support one of your projects?
Your group or organisation must be
- non-profit-making
- based within Go North East’s operational area
- benefit the wider community; we are unable to support applications from individuals
Priority is given to applications which will benefit young people although projects which benefit vulnerable members of the community will also be considered. Each application is judged on its own merits and the decision reached by Go North East is final.
Go North East helps drive ambitions of women’s football team
Newcastle United Women’s Football Club is one of the latest community organisation to benefit from Go North East’s community fund.
The team, which has just submitted an application to enter the proposed FA Women’s Super League, recently received a cheque for £500 from the bus company which will go towards funding much-needed club activities.
