If you're aged between 5 and 22 and are at school, sixth form, college or university, you can get around for less with one of our Get Around bus tickets.
Get Around tickets are available to buy and use without a Get Around ID card during September 2010
With Get Around, you can get unlimited travel on Go North East buses for a fraction of the normal price. There are no zones - Get Around is valid on all of our services except our night buses which run overnight and have an 'N' in front of their number and from time to time special event services as advertised.
All you need to get unlimited travel and great savings is a Get Around ID card which is available free of charge. Apply online using the link on the left.
You can buy tickets online, from travel shops or by phone and day tickets from your bus driver on the day. Follow the links on the left to find out all you need to know about saving money with Get Around.
If you live in County Durham and go to sixth form or college a Travel Assistance Award is available from Durham County Council which can be used towards the price of a 16 week Get Around ticket. Some colleges will pay to top this up giving you a full term of unlimited bus travel for free! Just click on the Travel Assistance link on the left for more information.
