Our working relationship with Metrocentre goes back to the beginning. A brand new partnership is set to develop public transport access even better.
The new partnership includes:
Go North East management of Metrocentre public transport interchange on behalf of Capital Shopping Centres- Improvements in provision and quality of information for bus passengers and Metrocentre customers, with new colour coding and brand displays at the bus stands
- Innovative information desk service in the heart of the Metrocentre public transport interchange where staff provide comprehensive travel information and ticket sales, and support retailer activities
- On the spot personal journey planning from the public transport information desk, working with Job Centre Plus to help new employees use public transport , and promotion of public transport to existing employees
This blend of travel and retail promotion has also been utilised successfully at The Galleries shopping centre in Washington where Go North East manages the transport interchange, on behalf of Prupim.
