Crusader buses have a frequency of up to every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes, running from South Shields, Jarrow, Hebburn, Monkton Lane, Heworth Metro, Felling Metro, Gateshead Interchange to Newcastle City Centre.
If you are heading into South Tyneside and the coast, the Crusader will take you to the heart of South Shields, where there are a number of attractions, shops and museums.
Our Crusader name comes from the 1936 Jarrow Crusades when a group of 200 Jarrow men marched 300 miles to London to protest against poverty.
