Metrolink busOur Metrolink M1 is the frequent link from Heworth to Concord, Washington, Fatfield, Shiney Row, Bournmoor, Fence Houses and Houghton-le-Spring. Buses run every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes, then up to every 30 minutes in the evening and on Sundays. Connections can also be made at Washington Galleries with the X1 to Newbottle, Easington Lane, Gateshead and Newcastle.

As well as the frequent M1, we run the 922, which is a direct service between Heworth, Washington and Rainton Bridge Business Park at peak times - perfect if you work at Rainton Bridge.

Cleaner buses - Our Kite Mark explained

Kite Mark 3Go North East has one of the cleanest bus fleets of its size in the country and to make it even easier for you to see how well your bus is doing to help look after the environment, we have introduced a new ‘kite mark’ on our buses.
