Black Cats service 26 runs every 30 mins Monday to Sundays serving Sunderland, Southwick, Hylton Riverside Park, Castletown, West Boldon, Boldon Asda and Heworth Metro.

Black Cats services 36A and 36C run every 30 mins Monday to Sundays serving Sunderland City Centre, Southwick Green, Witherwack, Hylton Castle, Castletown and Royal Hospital.

Our Fares & Tickets

With a maximum single fare of just £1.70 in the city and a local fare of just £1.20 for shorter journeys our fares in Sunderland are quick and easy. You can also buy a Sunderland Day ticket for £3 or weekly ticket for £10 for unlimited travel in the city available from the driver.

Outside of Sunderland we've a great range of single fares and our Cheap Day Return tickets cost from £2.50 or you can travel as much as you like from £4.20 a day with a Buzzfare day ticket available from the driver.

Day and weekly tickets are valid all day and can be used at anytime including evenings and weekends!

If you travel on Go North East services outside of Sunderland then a Buzzfare ticket is the one for you. Tickets start at £16.30 for a week. There’s also 28 day and annual Buzzfare tickets available too! Tickets are available from the driver and travel shops or save 10% by purchasing your tickets online.

Plus, you could save another 25%, compared to the price of individual 28 day tickets, if your employer buys an annual ticket for you under our corporate discount scheme - contact us for full information.

For 19-22 year olds our range of Get Around tickets give massive discounts with tickets offering unlimited travel starting at £3.20 a day !

Sunderland City Centre

The retail heart of the city is centred around The Bridges Shopping Centre, where there are over 100 top name high street stores. 

Close by The Bridges are Waterloo Place, Fawcett Street and John Street with numerous shops offering everything from designer labels to trendy interiors. 

Just a short walk away is the Winter Gardens, Museum, Art Gallery and Mowbray Park, while Sunderland Interchange offers frequent connections with Fab56 buses to the Stadium of Light and the Sunderland Aquatic Centre.
