The OK Way 18 is a local bus route linking Bishop Auckland town centre, the General Hospital, Asda and Morrisons with Coundon and Woodhouse Close, running every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday daytimes.
OK Motor Services - Celebrating 100 years 1912 - 2012
2012 would have been the Centenary year for OK Motor Services and it was on Saturday 6 April 1912 that company founder Wade Emmerson ran his first bus from Evenwood to Bishop Auckland.
Go North East is delighted to introduce new route 18, that will be run by easy access buses carrying the famous OK Motor Services livery and The OK Way name, with a team of locally based drivers to give real customer service.
On Monday 23 January 2012, we're introducing another new route, the OK1, between Crook, Bishop Auckland, West Auckland and Darlington that will be called The OK Expressway.

- £1 short-hop fares
- £1.20 from Bishop Auckland to Woodhouse Close
- £1.60 for any journey from Coundon
