M2 and M3 buses give you a bus up to every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes serving Heworth Interchange, Concord, Washington Galleries, Lambton Village and Ayton. Buses run to Barley Mow, Portobello and Birtley every 30 minutes.
W5 and W6 serve local areas of Washington including Concord bus station, Blackfell, Oxclose Village, Washington Galleries, Biddick Village Centre, Washington Village and Barmston Court with buses running up to every 15 minutes.

Our Cheap Day return tickets are available from £2.50. You can take advantage of simple fares along the route; £1.30 Washington Flat Fare for local travel around Houghton-le-Spring, Shiney Row and Heworth. Between Washington and Birtley the fare is £1.80.
Take advantage of unlimited travel in our Washington area for £2.70 with a Washington DaySaver, or £9 for a WeeklySaver.
If you travel on our services a few times a week then you will save money with our range of weekly, monthly or annual Buzzfare tickets. What’s more, once you get your ticket, you can use it as much as you want including evenings & weekends!
Our Washington Street Shuttle services run within our Purple Buzzfare zone giving you a week of unlimited travel for £16.30. Tickets are available from the driver and travel shops or save 10% by purchasing your ticket online .
Plus, you could save another 25%, compared to the price of individual 28 day tickets, if your employer buys an annual ticket for you under our corporate discount scheme - contact us for full information.
For 19-22 year olds our range of Get Around tickets give massive discounts with tickets offering unlimited travel starting at £3.20 a day!

With over 80 top name high street stores and specialist retailers, the Washington Galleries Shopping Centre has something for everyone. There’s also a retail park that’s a short walk away from the Galleries that includes Next, Home Bargans and Brantano Footwear.
Washington Street Shuttle buses give frequent links and the Bus Interchange is the perfect gateway to the Galleries Shopping Centre. Our staff will be on hand to help you with travel queries from 0700 to 1900 Monday to Friday and from 1000 to 1800 on Saturday.
