Go North East scores well in first Bus Users UK audit of its kind
The recent audit by Bus Users UK into services provided by Go North East is the first national audit of its kind to be carried out by the independent passenger watchdog.
The publication of the Bus Users UK Good Practice Guide last year led to a series of benchmarks being set for bus service standards and Go North East are pleased at how they have measured up in this first rigorous test of the total service standards.
Contributions towards the cost of the audit were received from EvoBus, Scania and Writghtbus which has added to the independent quality of the research.
Martin Harris, Commercial Director with Go North East said, “The findings have been drawn from a truly independent, unbiased examination of our services and we have learned a great deal from the report. In continuing to make further improvements to our services, the detailed results will be invaluable in making sure we are addressing the factors which are of the highest importance to our passengers. I would like to thank our sponsors for their support which has allowed us to take part in such a detailed study.”
Go North East were examined by Bus Users UK during February and March this year and found to be one of the best bus operators in the country with unbeatable standards of driving.
