Even more ways to talk about your bus services

Go North East passengers are being given even more opportunities to talk to bus service managers about their services with a series of ‘Meet the Manager’ sessions.

Venue details

The weekly sessions will take place in busy community locations around the whole region and senior, operational managers responsible for planning services will be present as well as local Service Delivery Managers who regularly work closely with communities in the area their bus services operate.

The sessions will give individuals the chance to personally discuss ideas for improving services or raise concerns they may have about their local bus services.

Each session will last for two hours and be held at times chosen to give as many people as possible the chance to take part – either 8am-10.30am or 4pm-6pm.

Go North East Commercial Director, Martin Harris said

“We are always looking for ways to improve the standard of our bus services and we get many valuable ideas from our customers.

“We want to be as approachable and accessible to as many people as possible and these new sessions build on the popular and useful sessions already held regularly in the community by our Service Delivery Managers.

“As well as giving our customers the opportunity to speak to us direct, we hope people will use the sessions to gain a better understanding of the decisions we make about services and the reasons why.”

Meet the Manager sessions will take place in locations throughout Go North East’s main operating areas, including Newcastle, Gateshead, South Shields, North Tyneside, Sunderland and Durham.
